Celebrating the longest night of the year, Mansfield Lantern Festival has evolved into one of the most eagerly anticipated annual events in Victoria’s High Country.
Alli Walker of Walker Events has steered this beautiful celebration of the Winter Solstice in Mansfield, at the foot of snow-capped Mt Buller, since 2015. The festival is returning with a fun packed festival on Saturday 22nd June 2024 from 4pm – 9pm in the Erril Street carpark (just off the High Street).

Saturday night sees the much-loved Bendigo Bank Lantern Parade and festival in the centre of town to light up the darkness and ward off the mid-Winter chill.
Highlights include performance artists, open fires and buzzing market stalls showcasing the amazing, food, wine, craft beer and spirits produced in and around Mansfield.
From tiny beginnings the Mansfield Lantern Festival now regularly attracts more than a thousand festival-goers. Ahead of the event, free lantern-making workshops are available to encourage locals and visitors to get creative and get involved.
