DESCRIPTION:The perfect beginning to the festival weekend. Join us at the Botanic Park stage for a Welcome to Country and a beautiful firelight ceremony as darkness falls on the first night of the solstice celebrations. Expect quiet and calm with acoustic music\, a meaningful Welcome to Country\, and a firelight ceremony to mark the start of the weekend. Dress warmly – it will be cold but it will be worth it. \nThere is no fixed seating – bring a fold-up chair or picnic blanket. The park has low lighting so a torch or headlamp is recommended. Dress warmly. \nParking is limited at the park\, but Mansfield town centre is an easy walk away. We’d encourage you to stroll in as the evening begins.

At 5:30pm\, hundreds of handmade lanterns move through the streets of Mansfield in the much-loved Community Bank Mansfield & District Lantern Parade before returning to the festival space for the grand finale – two spectacular back-to-back fire shows from 8:00pm. \nWant to walk in the parade?
