The Welcome to Country and firelight ceremony takes place at the Mansfield Botanic Park stage, at the eastern end of the park - a beautiful and fitting setting to open the festival weekend as darkness falls on the first night of the winter solstice celebrations.
The main event. The Community Bank Mansfield & District Lantern Parade steps off at 5:30pm and winds through the streets of Mansfield before finishing in the festival space - open fires, live music, street performers and local food and drink.
